My La Peppina has never pulled quite right; the lever rockets back to it's default position if I let go, rather than gliding along. Espresso comes out where it's supposed to, and it tastes pretty decent (note: I drink bad coffee pretty regularly, so my taste buds may just be confused.), but I'm a DIY kinda guy, so last night I opened the machine up.<br /><br />Somebody kick me.<br /><br />I've got it back together now, minus one separator and one screw (I'm relatively sure they're not really necessary!) and my test shot didn't leak or explode the machine, so - knocking on some wood here - all's well that ends well. Shockingly enough, the lever is a bit slower/smoother when returning to default.
