Kind of a desperate foreshadowing of pain to come.

Well, both paychecks arrived today. After paying off three bills and buying groceries, I've got $200 left. This will cover rent, and possibly electricity. Beyond that I have to wait two more weeks. So what do we have lined up thsi weekend? Three straight shifts, 5 hours of sleep, and another two straight shifts. Another 5 hours of sleep and one more overnight shift. Then, and only then, do I get to get some proper sleep. I hate weekends like this. Well, granted; I've only had one of them yet, so this is my second, but still. I hate them. I end up feeling itchy and crawly and slick and sick and hungry and exhausted and very, very angry that I cannot financially support myself without doing such crap. Kiddies, get an education while you may, and don't skip class. Skipping class is very, very stupid.
