Forced to breathe out the past.
Thursday, 21 September 2006 00:09Finally bought World of Warcraft. My experience with MMORPGs has been limited to Maple Story, which while fun in its own way, does not quite hold a candle to WoW. Also purchased Flat-Out 2. Upon review of my recent LJ entries, one might successfully argue that I'm attempting to drown myself in games. I really can't defend myself in that regard; I also think I am. I dunno, I guess I do get bitter when I can't have the latest/best, or even the second-latest/next-best. Borrowing money to buy stuff everybody else already has is apparently my way of saying," Screw you, Bucket." I think I've burned enough $100 bills in the last few days that I can slow down a bit now and enjoy the merchandise.
I am back in Aikido. It's amazing how well this stuff has kept with me. I've barely lost any time catching up. The initial soreness was annoying, but not debilitating. Now if I can just eat less junk food at work....ah, well, I dream as always.
The filthy rumors are true. He is one of the sweetest cats evar, and I just didn't want to leave him outside without a home. Winter's coming soon, for goodness' sake. I will admit that his meow might sound exceedingly creepy if one weren't expecting it.
