The baby carrots are bitter on my tongue, and the smell just makes me hurt. I don't know, they might have still been good, but...as careless as I am with food, I don't trust produce that's over a month old. The same goes for the potatoes, and this expensive cheese I never eat. I swore I would eat vegetables, and now my words return to stare me accusingly in the eye. I can barely keep from turning my head. I want to live healthier, but I don't want to give up what I've always had. I was suppsoed to be a master of compromise, where did that go? Hm. I'm cooking spaghetti, so I'm not so bad for food as I could be. Maybe tomorrow I'll eat some mashed potatoes. Bo isn't half bad at making them. Too bad we don't have any paprika. ...oh, the tragedy.

I've got two computers running at once, two feet from each other. I have only one keyboard, and one good monitor. When I need to check on the Gateway, I have to plug the cords into and out of the proper ports. It's really stimulating my inner nerd. Almost erotic. Almost. In a bit, I'll be wiping Jonathan's drive. hehehehe, I never learn. At least his stuff is getting backed up onto my Ninja drive. He won't lose anything, I think. I'm glad he trusts me...if he only knew the risks I took. ;) Not quite, but close.

Today I paid $150 to fix my car. Cheaper than I thought, so I am happy!Zach. With hiccups. *hic* Guess I'd better get to work, neh? Hm.

Finished watching Spirited Away again. It makes me ache inside, makes me wish such things happened. Makes me miss Renee more than ever, which may or may not be silly. I don't know. It's such a gorgeous movie, I still tingle when I think about the fact she bought it for me. She's such a crazy nerf. :) I should be visiting her this weekend, but the bucket dumped a particularly fresh load on me today....my car won't start. It acts like the battery is dead, but the lights, radio and such are working pretty normally. I figure I fried my ignition/starter eralier today at the bank, when my key didn't turn back all the way, etc. I don't know, really. Hopefully today some grease monkey (I mean that in the nicest, least-snobby way possible, honestly!) will be able to fix it at little cost. I don't have much hope, since the bucket usually does a pretty good job of thoroughly screwing me over, but I still have a little.

Interesting note: I cashed my final three paychecks from Valero today, and at this very second should have $791.49 in my account. I thought this was a nice little surprise that could help me cover money issues this month, but if this whole car business gets as costly as I'm nervous it might, I will have been wrong. Glee. On another interesting note, to elope does not necessarily mean to run away and get married secretly. It can also mean to simply run away with one's lover. I was not aware it worked that way.

I've seen the first two episodes of Robotech. I'm not entirely impressed, though not really thrown off. It's another nice anime that doesn't really meet my quality points to merit furthur viewing. Sorry, Bo. XP

*sigh* There's more going on, but the car issue has kicked me in the junk hard enough I won't concern myself with writing on them. Maybe later. Knowing me, not likely.
