Of see-through doors and half-cold things.
Saturday, 12 April 2003 06:27Must have been some wild party last night. I come in this morning to find that not only is the front door unlocked, but is also partly open, unbeknownst to the two sleeping occupants. The central air conditioner is turned on (in cold weather, that's not good), while the oven is also on around 400 degrees. Nice counterbalance there, eh? Nothing is in the oven; it's just on. I pour a bowl of cereal, only to find someone left the milk out, so I have to have a dry bowl. I'm almost afraid to go through the rest of the house. A pinata may pop out and start beating me or something.
This afternoon begins my triple-shift work stretch, for a total of three hours of sleep versus 30 hours (no exaggeration) of work. This will be fuuuuun. Time to prepare, sleepwise, while I can. Goodbye, world.
