Seems all I ever get is spam.
Friday, 12 August 2005 11:50But that's what comes of never emailing anyone else, I suppose. I've only 2 days off before school starts, which means that summer is more or less officially over for me. Time to get my nose to the grindstone and start worrying about everything again. This semester is going to be a killer if all goes as planned. The classes aren't too bad, but my schedule looks like a chess board with all the empty squares in it for rushing home to eat/shower after working out. I'm also completely in the dark as to how my work schedule is going to be. Chris (my store manager) called this morning, apparently the guy they hired to replace me didn't show up today, his second day of training. Which means I'm staying in Bono until they can hire someone else and train him. I know they hate this process, especially since I'm a guaranteed-never-gonna-quit kind of guy. There was some talk of moving me to third shift at another store, which frankly won't do. At least not this semester.
I should hope everyone on my flist already agrees with this sentiment. But if not,a few swift kicks to the head will help them see the light. Homophobia is wrong. 'Nuff said (we all wish).
Daniel made it back safe and sound. Boo! No more X-Box! Ah, well, at least we'll have more space in our entertainment center with that thing gone. Which reminds me; need to return Red Ninja to Hastings. Note to gamer friends: it's only a renter, ands then only if you're very bored.
Oh yeah! I'm 23 now. Have I posted that yet? Getting oooold. I rememebr being 17 and saying that to people, who just laughed. Feels a lot more serious now, though. When I think 23, I picture young guys in business suits, going forth to accept the world onto their shoulders. All I want to do is eat ramen and watch TV. Kind of makes a guy feel worthless. I guess we'll see what happens when I finally finish college.
