Finally bought World of Warcraft. My experience with MMORPGs has been limited to Maple Story, which while fun in its own way, does not quite hold a candle to WoW. Also purchased Flat-Out 2. Upon review of my recent LJ entries, one might successfully argue that I'm attempting to drown myself in games. I really can't defend myself in that regard; I also think I am. I dunno, I guess I do get bitter when I can't have the latest/best, or even the second-latest/next-best. Borrowing money to buy stuff everybody else already has is apparently my way of saying," Screw you, Bucket." I think I've burned enough $100 bills in the last few days that I can slow down a bit now and enjoy the merchandise.

I am back in Aikido. It's amazing how well this stuff has kept with me. I've barely lost any time catching up. The initial soreness was annoying, but not debilitating. Now if I can just eat less junk food at work....ah, well, I dream as always.

The filthy rumors are true. He is one of the sweetest cats evar, and I just didn't want to leave him outside without a home. Winter's coming soon, for goodness' sake. I will admit that his meow might sound exceedingly creepy if one weren't expecting it.

She doesn't seem very interested in the game. And I need to level up quite a bit before I'll feel good about questing with other people. Don't want to be a drag, etc.

What server are you on? Alliance or Horde? And you can quest with anyone on anything, even when you're low level. Then you've got people to call on when you've got the more difficult ones to take on.

Currently only have one char, alliance on Anvilmar. Will make others after I've played for a bit, to hang with friends. :) What are your chars?

Scratch my last reply. Made another char on Vek'nilash, named Reinne. Am trying VERY HARD not to play for hours and hours. XD It's getting too easy to think, "Ok, I can level up in just a few minutes."

OMG YEAH. Well, to be fair it *is* pretty easy to level up at the beginning. I'd say after level 12 or so it starts to take a bit longer. But whee! I will add your character to my friend list when I get home.

I've got three characters right now that I actually play (and one I've abandoned). Loresit is my human warlock on Vek'nilash and she's my main main character. Then on Cenarius I have a gnome mage named Winnii and a gnome warrior named Graace.
