Super-Green!

I think it's about time I admitted to myself that I don't understand the King James translation of the Bible. It's bad enough having to wade through "thee's" and "thou's", but when Jesus starts saying stuff like, "Ye both know me, and ye know whence I am: and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not.", then I have to admit I have to read the thing 3 more times before I understand he just meant, "You know who I am and where I come from, but I'm not here for my own pleasure, I'm here for God's will, even if you don't really know God."

Egads.

So I'd better buy a NIV or somesuch newer translation before I blow a vein reading one little verse.

Dreamy Lights.

So I'm sitting here waiting for them to turn the internet off. It's gonna be a strange few days/weeks with no real communication with the outside world. Not that I ever really communicate, but still. I won't be able to watch/stalk people like I normally do. *sigh* Breakdown? Ok, here ya go; I don't have the money to pay for both cable and internet, so I've chosen to stop watching TV in order to get out of having to pay half the cable bill. This means my housemate (Bo, as you'll recall) has to pay all the cable, which he cannot do. Since Cox doesn't let you have Cable Internet without Cable TV, to turn off TV, we lose internet. Having no money, that's what's going down. Sooo, the guy's gonna be here Friday morning, bright and early, to blind and deafen us, so to speak. Ah, whatever. Whenever we have the money to try again, I don't know if we'll go with Cox or not. Personally, I prefer Satellite to cable, and DSL isn't much slower than cable 'net. Not to mention Cox really screws you over with their billing method. I just don't know.
